A good one, but is there a point for us knowing that Sawyer has a child? And I loved the 441 reference, seeing as that is a road just west of where I live. And: Man, when the rest of the castaways start to look for Sawyer, Jack, and Kate, won’t they be freaked out to find out they are are on another island??
yeah i dont understand the whole second island thing quite yet… At the book club meeting, they watched the plane fall onto their island… so how could they of been looking at the island the losties have been living on?? havent they scowered around the entire island already? im sure they would of seen another island sitting out in the ocean.. confusing. im excited to see what becomes of it
i was thinking the same - when the plane crashed, the others definately saw it landing on their island, and then they RAN to the different sections of the plane. (they didnt take boats!!!)
i think benry gale is lying (again) and that the other second island is not really the one the losties landed on. he lied about the pacemaker…..
oh - and i laughed hard when kate just happened to notice after about 4 days that she could climb out of her cage! a little unrealistic.
also - interestingly - that spinal x-ray jack saw LOL. i’m a doctor (no kidding - really i am) - and it was an AP abdominal x-ray with no spinal tumour (esecially not on L4) - I guess they couldn’t find the exact x-ray they needed for the show!! (though there was a markedly dilated descending colon…)
With regard to the spinal x-ray - it could be a mistake on the part of the producers, but then again, it may just be that Jack was lying to give himself some leverage with the Others. After all, he is the spinal surgeon. If he gives a diagnosis of a spinal tumour, then he is making himself more valuable to the Others - since he is the only one who can operate on it - regardless of whether the patient actually has a tumour or not.
The whole second island thing does stretch credibility a bit too far. Desmond has sailed around the whole area and has not mentioned seeing any other islands.
also, would Ben have really given the boat to Michael if they lived on another island?
