Summary
Benjamin Linus, who once falsely took the name Henry Gale, appears to be the leader of the Others.
He claims that, prior to the crash, he had been living on the island his entire life. He was captured by Danielle Rousseau who handed him over to the survivors. They held him prisoner in The Swan while they tried to determine whether or not he was an Other. He told an elaborate story, claiming to be a man called Henry Gale, an innocent survivor of a balloon crash on the island.
